Schedule a Telehealth Neurological Evaluation
Get evaluated for possible symptoms of concussion, mild traumatic brain injury, or spinal instability
Symptoms following a car accident, fall, sports injury, or other traumatic event may not always appear immediately. A telehealth neurological evaluation allows you to speak with a licensed medical provider who can review your symptoms, injury history, medical records, and current concerns.
The purpose of the consultation is to determine whether your symptoms may be consistent with a neurological or spinal injury and whether additional diagnostic testing or in-person evaluation may be appropriate.
Conditions and concerns evaluated
During your consultation, the provider may evaluate symptoms potentially associated with:
- Mild traumatic brain injury, or mTBI
- Concussion
- Vestibular or ocular-motor dysfunction
- Cognitive or neurological impairment
- Cervical or lumbar ligament injury
- Alteration of Motion Segment Integrity, or AOMSI
- Post-traumatic headaches or dizziness
Common symptoms
Consider scheduling an evaluation when you have experienced symptoms such as:
- Headaches or pressure in the head
- Dizziness, vertigo, or balance problems
- Blurred or double vision
- Difficulty concentrating or remembering information
- Mental fogginess or slowed processing
- Fatigue or changes in sleep
- Nausea or motion sensitivity
- Irritability, anxiety, or mood changes
- Neck or lower-back pain
- Pain or stiffness that worsens with movement
- Numbness, tingling, or weakness
- Symptoms that began or became worse after an accident or injury
What to expect during your appointment
Your provider will review:
- How the injury occurred
- When your symptoms began
- The severity and progression of your symptoms
- Your medical and neurological history
- Previous imaging, treatment, or diagnostic testing
- How your symptoms affect work, sleep, mobility, and daily activities
Based on the evaluation, the provider may recommend additional testing, referral to another specialist, continued monitoring, treatment, or an in-person examination.
